Indoor Cricket Rules
Official rules as sanctioned by the World Indoor Cricket Federation (WICF)
Quick Overview
Indoor Cricket is played between two teams of 8 players in a netted court. Each team bats and bowls for 16 overs, with batters playing in pairs for 4 overs each. Runs are scored by hitting the ball into nets or running between wickets.

Simplified Indoor Cricket Court Layout
Court Dimensions: 28-30m length, 10.5-12m width, 4-4.5m height
Pitch Length: 20m between stumps
Exclusion Zone: 3m radius from batting crease
Equipment Requirements
- 1Bats: Wooden cricket bats (max 96.5cm length, 10.8cm width)
- 2Batting Gloves: Both batters must wear two gloves
- 3Footwear: Rubber-soled sports shoes (no marking soles)
- 4Uniforms: Matching colored shirts, sports pants/shorts
TURF provides the balls and stumps for all matches. Players must bring their own personal equipment.
